What clients ask most often — the fee, the documents, how long it takes, and what makes a report the receiving party will accept.
How much does a valuation cost?
The fee depends on the type of asset, its location, the purpose of the valuation and the scope of work — a single villa and a portfolio of buildings are not the same job. Tell us what you need and we send a clear written quotation. Nothing starts before you approve it.
What do you need from me to start?
The title deed and the location of the property are usually enough to open the file. Once we know the purpose of the valuation and who the report is addressed to, we tell you exactly what else is needed — before you are committed to anything.
How long until I receive the report?
Usually two to three working days, counted from the point the documents and the site inspection are complete. If an asset needs longer — a large portfolio, or a project still under construction — we say so when we define the scope, not when we deliver.
Who signs the report, and will the receiving party accept it?
Every valuation report is signed by an accredited valuer who carries professional responsibility for it, prepared under the International Valuation Standards (IVS), and put through an independent in-house review before it leaves us. The report is built to support the receiving party’s own review and approval procedures.
Does the value differ from one valuation firm to another?
Yes, within known limits: for the same asset, the same method and the same purpose, valuers’ opinions typically differ by around ±10%, because a valuation is a professional opinion built on market evidence rather than a single correct number. Wider gaps than that usually come from a different purpose, a different valuation date or different assumptions — all of which the report states openly, so they can be judged.
What is the difference between a valuation and a feasibility study?
A valuation answers what a standing asset is worth today. A feasibility study answers the harder question that comes before it: is this project worth building at all, and in what form? The first half of our name does the one, the second half does the other.
